baby duck with lots of problems

My two limping chickens (Gracie and Sophie) are doing better today. Gracie isn't limping as much as yesterday and neither is Sophie but she's limping more than Gracie (If that makes sense?) So i'm super glad to see them doing better!

Dave hasn't gone out for a walk around the neighborhood today because it's much too hot and there's no shade to walk him through. I'll have to wait till this evening when it's cooler. It'll be like yesterday though, just to visit some neighbors. He got lots of hugs and kisses today, he thanks you all for them!

I am glad your girls are doing better. What a relief. Don't want the birds hurting and limping.

I love that Dave goes out in the neighborhood. I wish someone would walk by me with their cute duck so that I could squeal.

Thanks Julie. Topper thinks she is queen of the yard and I guess she is. She muscles that little chest into every food bowl she can devour. Then the nest the only duck that is laying the same place everyday now Topper is going to run her out.

Patti your pics are beautiful. The geese and the momma scovy duck with the baby are beautiul. I hope you get in the calendar they deserve a place.

I would love to put the pic of Turbo and Que Sera in my aviatar in and the one with Turbo in the purple flowers but I don't think they are the right pixels. Can someone tell me if they are? They weren't a huge pic so I don't think their going to be big enough.

Topper is the alfa female duck. When she comes over to steal the food she brings Donald with her. Clyde is not fast enough to stop Topper. I'm sure Clyde doesn't like Topper and the rest of them using Sherry's nesting spot. I found 4 eggs around the side of the house hiding in the grass. I don't know if Sherry has moved her spot or what. I swear I think these ducks are laying more then one egg a day. I can't keep up with them.
