baby duck with lots of problems

That's sweet that she still does he dance. Dave does a dance, but for completely different reasons, Que Sera's is cute probably. Dave got in lots of trouble today..he pulled a tail feather outta one of the other boys and chased them a lot so he got big and long timeouts today. I wish he'd stop being mean to them.
Poor Dave he's always in trouble. Maybe your little flock with subdivide like mine did. Do they have a big space to run in? I hope Dave outgrows his aggression and tell him I said to behave but give him a big hug too from me.

That little Que Sera is adorable, don't you wish you could just pick her up and hug her. I have to be sneaky to hug any of mine besides Opie.

Patty have you ever gently put her in the pool?
I would love to hold her without having to chase her down to do it. It takes two of us to catch her. I wish she was like Opie. I haven't put her in the pool since she was little. She loved it then and I had to stand right beside the pool while she was in it. I'll try and put her in it gently if hubbie will help me catch her.

We are watching the great grandbaby today, Aubrey. She is the best baby I have ever seen. Never cries and just a joy to be around. Even when she is sick she always gives us a big smile. She is so happy all the time. I love her so much.

Awe, thank you Patty. You're a sweetheart. I did get in a squeeze kiss on my female duck cuz I had to catch her to put her in for the night.

I love that Que Sera. Dancing and chasing and being a duck. She is an amazing bird. Freckles. Love that name.
Thank you Julie I'm glad you got a kiss from your little female finch duck.

Que Sera just seemed to have lots of energy and enjoyed hanging out with the gang. Freckles got her name because she looks like she has freckles on her face. She is a sweetie. I try every morning to get her to eat out of my hand but she won't do it. Dee Dee and Topper will eat from my hand but she won't come near me.

Patty

Sheesh! I'm sure glad I only have one drake. I got lucky. Wish the boys would just be nice to each other.
Yes you did. Nice little group you have.

Que Sera is always doing something sweet. I love her. Awe, cute for Freckles getting her name that way. Interesting she won't eat out of your hand. I am glad Dee Dee and Topper do.

We have big white duck eggs, green eggs, pink eggs, tan eggs and white eggs. I always see the posts on when will my chickens or ducks start laying. Now I ask you when will they stop laying?

I've got eggs in the fridge eggs on the counter I'm getting over run with eggs here. The supply is much more then the demand. I even tried peeling some eggs and fed them to the dogs. The dogs wouldn't eat them. I chopped up about 20 boiled eggs and handed them out this morning. The ducks and chickens gobbled them down. If they ever get tired of them I'm in big trouble.

I've got a line waiting in the coop for the popular nesting box. I've got at least 7 nesting boxes in the coop but they all want to use just one nesting box. The ducks have run out of hiding places now their just dropping them on the ground. Hey that is fine with me no more crawling under wood piles and bending down trying to get in the duck house. They also like to lay under the holly bush which tears my arms up trying to get them out. If the holly bush doesn't get me the yucca plant does. We've got little wild rabbits running around the yard. Thank goodness they don't lay eggs unless we get one that thinks she's the easter bunny.

I've got everyone fed and watered this morning. The ducks like to get in the big water bowls. They have two pools but the water bowls are so much more fun.

Patti we need a new pic of Oppie. If he can leave his girls long enough to come inside and get his handsome face in a new pic. That swagger of his is halarious.

LOL, Patty. The guy my husband works for has something similar going on. He bought some chickens back in the spring, and he now has so many eggs he's having trouble giving them away. Have you thought about giving your excess ones to a food bank?

Interesting that everybody wants to use the same nest box. Is there something special about that one?

I believe it is a chicken thing. My chickens are the same way which ever gets to a nest box first that is the one everyone wants to use for the day. And the rest will stand and squawk till it's their turn.

Patty Lovely assortment of colored eggs, unless I am baking my ducks eggs go to the dogs and having 5 they get used up pretty quick.
Chicken eggs go to church family.

I'll try to get a good pic of Opie soon, I have been painting so haven't had alot of spare time.

LOL...thank goodness the bunnies aren't laying eggs! Here I am green with egg envy. I'm already looking around wishing/hoping for eggs. Yeah, I think I'm a bit early since my girls will only be 19 weeks tomorrow, but a girl can dream!
