Baby rat or baby mouse.

I got this mouse fuzzy to feed my snake but that didn't work out, I couldn't do it lol. But the more I look at her the more it looks like a rat with its small ears. Its about 2 inches in length not including tail. Also I don't think this is a fuzzy, it's eyes are open and it's eating solid food, could you also guess it's age

Feed pelleted rodent feed, not seeds, and enjoy! We had pet mice a long time ago. And no way will I ever feed live critters to a pet anything!

I really didn't want to do live because I can't stand it, but it was a baby ball python that wouldn't eat frozen, but we got rid of the snake lol. We plan on getting a few more female mice : )

As a rat owner, I 100% agree. I've raised babies and gotten fairly young rats.

This is what a juvenile brown/roof/Norwegian roof rat looks like. He was actually pretty small for his age(this is from 2020). The snout is narrower and is typically the easiest way to tell.

Is it normal for him to be jumping on my hand and licking my fingers as soon as I put my hand in the tank and when I pull it away he scratches on the glass until I put my hand back in? Is it because I don't have any other mice yet and he's lonely

Think of him like a puppy. They want contact and touch. Even while letting a puppy, they will still paw you and if you stop petting, they will paw harder for attention.
