Backyardchickens.com violates Facebook community standards?? What??

it's one of the group ones that it heavily moderated by anti-poulty-forum police.
I take it it's not a poultry group then?
'Groups' have their own rules, in addition to the general facebook rules.
Moderators in groups can make their own rules, sometimes they are much needed.

I post links to the Mama Heating Pad thread here on BYC’s Facebook all the time. I just did it two days ago and it’s still up. But here in order to post a video of my chicks using it, or anything else for that matter, it has to be loaded to YouTube or another site and then the link embedded. No problem, I just started a private YouTube where the only people who can see that particular video have to be given the URL. I also would go to my YouTube to grab and post a video if someone wanted to see my setup or something on BYC’s Facebook page, with no issues.

Then a week or so ago, someone wanted to see my chicks being brooded outdoors. We were discussing how MHP let’s them use their instincts to hide, and thus letting them learn to self-calm. So I went to my YouTube, posted the URL to the video, and got nailed. Post got pulled, I got a censure for using YouTube, and when I questioned it, asking why, I was told it was to prevent people from increasing their “followers” and “likes”.

So now I’m on probation there for a month. My stuff has to be approved before it can be posted. My confusion over this is simple.....here I have to use YouTube or something similar to show a video. There I can’t show the video I use here because it’s on YouTube. Problem is that once I upload it, I take it off my phone because it’s safely tucked away there, and easy to find. So I’ve basically “lost” a lot of instructional videos because they aren’t useable. Grrrrrrrr
