I hope you found help with the coop! i read through this and i am so concerned for you & the chickens. I agree with the fire company & also maybe some 4H kids locally!!! I wish i was closer cause i would bring a bunch of strong kids. Please keep us updated!!!

What is the status this morning. Have you found your hen. since you do not have minutes on your phone if you pm the phone numbers i can make some calls for you. Did you go through the breeders book i gave you a link for to see if there are any hereford breeders in your area that i can contact?

texasgal, I just realized that my inbox was full. I fixed that.

No, coop is still upside down, can't find Sprinkle anywhere, and it's uh, a little cramped in the house right now with 30 lbs of chicken living in my kitchen nook, lol. But I love them, so they can stay in there until the coop is fixed.

I did look at the website herefordlovinglady, but I wasn't exactly sure that I was looking at it right? I've never seen that site before, or even heard of it, but I'll check it out again.

So tired, and it's cold now. At least the high winds they predicted for today don't seem to want to blow. It's pretty calm out today. Just cold. I realized when I sat down last night just how much pain I was in after trekking around outside in near tornadic winds trying to snag things that were blowing around as well as looking for the missing chicken.

I really appreciate the prayers. They mean a lot. Hoping our prayers can get answered too. I'm looking forward to getting my chickens moved back outside, and soon!

Okay.. I've called several churches .. no response
I called Ambia fire department .. no answer
I emailed Hereford breeders in her area .. (HLL .. I can let you know who I emailed)

I think alot of folks are already out trying to clean up from the storms yesterday .. I haven't given up ..

We'll find someone .. Oxford has a high school .. I could call and ask to speak to the ag/ffa coach ??

My apologies if this was covered, but did you post your quandry on the Indiana 'Where are you?' thread. Perhaps you'll find more people close by there as well? Good luck. Sounds very difficult.
