Hello fellow Bantam Cochin owners.
I just recently purchased 2 four month old pullets for the purpose of brooding (hopefully)
...their momma was a Buff Cochin, who was a very good broody, and their dad a Mille Fleur, so you an see the influence of both colors.
Not new to chickens, just new to Bantam Cochins.
Hoping to learn more about the breed. So far, they've been pretty easy care. They live with my broody Silkie in a hutch that is made just for brooding, with attached run covered in bark chips (to keep the mud down).
