BANTAM COCHINS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad I found this thread! I find myself with 11 feather legged bantam's and I know they are either bantam Cochins or Brahma's. I took some photos hoping I can get help identifying them. I have had lots of breeds, but the only Cochin was a little black rooster someone found in the middle of summer wandering in the desert. He was friendly and loving but found a new home as soon as he decided to try to kill my Buff Orpington hens! I know the buff in the second picture is a Buff Cochin, but I'm still guessing on the others. The black ones have red/brown heads and gold on the wings.

Could you post pics of each one? Brahmas have pea combs Cochins have single combs

Well they are fast little things I can try later when it isn't so hot out. Thanks for the comb information! That helps a lot.
I've been having serious issues trying to get around on the site today, so slow I gave up for awhile.

Icewing was sitting on my shoulder and SHE ATE MY EARRING!!!! it was a post with a sparkly green stone/glass.

I can feel it in her crop.

Those were my favorite earrings too :(

I don't feel like separating her until I find it in her poop so... guess I'll get new ones.

... but what if another chicken comes along and finds it and eats it too???
My chicken ate my daughters pearl earring right out of her ear once! We never did find it and the chicken survived!

Just jumping in here and introducing my 9 calico cochins. They are are 4 weeks old today and I'm pretty sure I have 4 Roos, 4 hens and 1 that seems to still be undecided.
These are my first non hatchery birds and my first cochins and I'm loving them SO MUCH! I can't get over their colors and sweet personalities.
