Bantam Cockerel Crop Issues

I wasn't able to be at home on Saturday and Sunday so I had someone else take care of Ares. Unfortunately, they didn't feed him the correct food, and he now has a harder, but slightly smaller, crop. :barnie:he
His breath doesn't smell bad anymore, but he is pale and lethargic. Here's a picture:

I've been feeding him lots of water, but he won't spit up anything when I massage his crop.
 
Ares is fully recovered! :yesss:

After a week more of massaging his crop and feeding him watered-down crumbles, he became much better. He then had a slightly mushy crop for a couple weeks, but that too gradually cleared up. This is Ares now:
