Bantam Easter Egger or Ameraucana?

Hey there!

Just wanted to see what breed people think these girls are. I was told they were Ameraucanas, but when I picked them up the lady said they were Easter Eggers. Are they either, or do they look like something else? The tan/white one has more of a beard, and the blue/gray one has puffy cheeks, not sure if you can tell from these photos.

If the splash wheaten one lays blue eggs, I would say she’s a bantam ameraucana.

She’s a splash wheaten

This bird looks like it may be carrying the dominant white gene. Her color really doesn't look right for wheaten Ameraucana to me.

In the 3rd picture you can see a blue tint to the feathers. Splash is often mistaken for dominant white.

We'll have to agree to disagree then. To me this looks like a mixed color EE. Color is too dark and patchy for wheaten Ameraucana.

Both of them are Easter Eggers. The leg color on the blue gives her away, and the lighter female doesn't match an established/recognized variety of Ameraucana.

Pretty girls. I just got 15 bantam easter girls. I’m loving the colors so far.
