As for snakes, I have no clue. I don't have those beasties up here.

We have them almost everywhere!

I caught a snake just yesterday in my office workplace hallway. (Baby speckled king snake.)

Do you have poisonous snakes too?

Well, I haven't eaten any to know if they're poisonous. (Hee hee, sorry, I couldn't help myself).

But yes, seriously, we do have (lots) of copperheads, coral snakes, cotton mouths, and rattlesnakes.

I had to bring my poor 13 year old dog to the vet a few weeks ago because she was bitten by either a copper head (most likely) or cotton mouth.

That's funny right there. My neighbor also walked over a couple days ago and gave me 2 bantams. Golden Sebrights. Male and female.

What!!! I want seabrights! They are soooo cute! I love their color!

I call them poisonous, too, so I get the playfully obnoxious comment, ALL THE TIME. I couldn't miss my only shot to be annoying about it to someone else. Thanks for being a good sport and not laying into me!

I'm guessing up north there aren't many snakes. I can walk out in my yard everyday and flip something over and find at least one black racer. Such is life here in southeast Louisiana.

Ahahaha... I'm usually a stickler for it but I guess I just got caught napping today.

Nope. Over in AB-ish there are some rattlers but here it's pretty much just garter snakes. They're fun to catch.
