barred rock..4 months old pullet..when will feet turn completely yellow?

I call them checkered flags thats what the pattern reminds me of. Very pretty classic breed. About what age did yours begin to lay???

They all started between 19 and 22 weeks. Down to 3 of my original 6, due to their insistence on not returning to the coop at night and getting picked off by predators. They still lay really well at 4 years of age.

Aw i only have one barred rock as of right now but i just have a backyard flock but good to know. Once they get regular how many eggs do you get now from yours?

Did you know they had bantam barred rocks?

Yes there are bantam Barred Rocks, but you aren't likely to get one from TSC. Not many hatcheries have them.

They lay daily from early March, once the days are long enough, through October, when they start to molt.

Mine have laid thru winter. 4 eggs per day from 5 hens in summer.
