Barred Rock, 4 weeks old, is this a cockerel?

One roo to six hens will probably be fine if they have plenty of room. He will have an unsophisticated technique when he starts mating and the girls probably won't like him much, but that will settle down. Or, you can introduce your friends to chicken math and enable them to get more hens!
