Hey guys,
I have a 3-week Barred Rock sold as a pullet by a local feed store in Connecticut.
This chick started feathering out slowly, but up to a couple of days ago, the tail feathers were coming in very nicely. Her comb may have gotten a big bigger, but she's always had a comb on the bigger side, though, the wattle started to very slowly showing. The wattle is noticeable enough on the pics, still pale in color. The comb looked a big darker today, perhaps pinkish, but I am not sure if it can be appreciated on the pics. This chick is very gentle and does not complain when i pick her up. Loves perching on my finger. If a boy (which is my suspicion), I think I will try to keep him.
Can anyone help me identify her gender based on the pics posted. I am new at raising chicks. I've been doing a lot of research on each breed i own, but I want someone else's input regarding the gender based on the pics.
Thanks!

Where did this little cutie come from? Source can often influence breed identity.

I got all my 10 baby chicks from a local feed store in CT. I honestly don't know where they could've gotten them from. As for the remaining eight, I'm confident they are all girls except for my SLW and BR mix.
