The Poly Vi Sol was SOOOO hard to find. I went to Kroger (same store as Ralph's in Cali) and Walmart and a few drug stores in Hinesville, Georgia and could not find it so I drove to Richmond Hill, Georgia and went in a pharmacy and they didn't have it....omg. So I went to the Kroger in Richmond Hill and they DID have it. I almost didn't see if because it was on the very bottom shelf and kept in the vitamin section.

Wow, $20 at Wally and only $9 on their own web site!

They don't carry it at my local Wally.

It's interesting to see the differences... For example the PND has amino acids that the PVS doesn't. And come to find out thiamine is B1... what other words don't I know that mean it's actually one of those vitamins??
With the formulations being made specifically for babies verses poultry... I wonder which truly benefits the poultry more? Wish I had the skill to make a side by side comparison chart of these 3 products. AND discern the ingredients that are there but not included in the guaranteed analysis.
This is the product I bought when I couldn't find the PVS.. I can't find the guaranteed analysis online... though it is on the bottle I can't quite see it, but may try again later to post it for y'all. I do like the product, and see
immediate result when I do a drop to the beak on failing bird...

One other thing I wish to note... the PND claim to have a patented uptake process... is that just because it's liquid and therefor will enter the intestines faster than if it was in food or solid form? I feel as though it might just be some advertising hype... just like the fancier bags of feed claim to have probiotics. A lot of the less fancy bags have those SAME probiotics but just don't advertise it on their bag.
All that searching you did for the PVS... the things we will do for our birds... You have gone above and beyond!
Did the vet say how much for them to re wrap the tendon if you went in for them to do it? I would definitely have a hard time with it. One thing I will also say is that I have had some very painful and harsh injuries. Physical therapy may not always help... but it has helped me heal and be pain free beyond what I would have thought possible on at least 2 separate occasions! Sometimes I feel it flare back up and do the moves I was taught for yet another bout of fairly long term relief. Doesn't mean the process is easy or pain free, because you push a little more each time until you back to normal. But the good news is that it CAN happen! And I'm a firm believer that PT WILL work fro MANY things.
