Yours looks exactly how my BR looked. I think the yellow leg depends on the hatchery, some have darker yellow whilst others have bright yellow

I have 4 brs: spotty daisy quiche and flecks. I love barred rocks; their curious and sweet personality plus their love for people make them so lovable!

The hatchery where I ordered my Dominique pullets had a "hiccup" and rescheduled the ship date a month later to March. They arrived in perfect health and have never been sick.I haven't lost a single one. Skip forward 3 months later:

Substitutions were obviously made because I have chicks that look a like but have different combs. Some have straight combs and others have rose. Ironically the friendliest and my favorite is one I thought might be a rooster and still not sure but I do know its a Barred Rock because its got yellow legs and a straight comb.

Its the angle of the picture I took sorry. It has a normal size tail.
