Barred rock or BSL

So the place I purchased these 2 chickens from had them labeled black sex link, as we all know the males have a white spot on the head and the females are all black.. So I picked one of each...they are around six or seven months old now and the entire time I thought I had a rooster until yesterday and today I witnessed him coming out of the nesting box doing the hen song and finding a warm brown egg in the box...is this a barred rock hen or what the heck is happening lol...

Looks like you got a Barred Rock pullet! Barred Rock chicks are also black with a white spot on the head.

It's a female. A Black Sexlink female would be solid black with red leakage.

That's what I read but I wasn't sure.. Apparently the place I bought them from didn't know either so is she a BSL hen then?
