Look at the back of the birds. near the tail. Those shiny skinny pointy feathers that hang down are called saddle feathers and only roosters have them. The birds in the pictures are 100% all roosters.the 2 in the pic are the ones i am wondering about.....you think the one on the left is a hen?...you dont think both are roosters??...i will post a pic of the other mix one i have.....i called the man...he told me he sold out of chickens and doesnt sell them any more...and your right....i think he knew just what he was doing and didnt care....![]()
yes!!!!!.......only my hen has way more red in her...i will post a pic of her tomorrow.....i guess they are ALL mixed!....boy did i get taken!!!!...that makes me so mad!....i just wish they were all hens!!!

what is a BSL/Del???....you think one of the 3 might be a hen??Y uppers rooster all the way on the 3rd 1 but you do have 1 pullet by looking at the tail puff the smallest chick is a hen.............. other 2 definitely rooster. and will start crowing soon by the looks of them.......the first chick in the first picture is the hen........ she has a female tail set and feathers, small comb and wattles. these are not BR they are BSL/ BR crosses or maybe BSL/Del cross......... BR do indeed have yellow legs...........
