I saw a Marans thread like this, so I figured I'd create one for Barred Rocks. Just post pictures of eggs, chicks, adults, anything Barred Rock! If you have a question about them, I suppose this is the place to find it out. Ask about the breed, or ask for pictures of something. So come on Barred rocks owners! Let's unite!

Yay! Barred Rocks! I only have three, mixed in with other varieties, but I absolutely love them. They are eight weeks old now and very lively and social.

How old is he in the second pic? I just kind of want to know...heh heh. Curious. I love Barred rocks and I can't wait till mine get good coloring like yours!

I have 12 Barred Rocks in my large laying flock, including 2 cockerels, Dutch & Mace, 17 and 14 weeks old now. Plus, I have my Zane, sweet Zane, who is about 9 months old.
Here is Dutch today, then Dutch and Mace's mama, Lexie, my little tough girl. Then Zane, the youngest boy, Mace and one of my year old hens, Maddie.
