I am a "less is best" gal preferring thong backed french cut suits preferring 2 piece. My preference is "all naturale" and that is why my hot tub is clothing optional. I cannot stand anything around my thighs so most swimsuits annoy me because of the elastic and etc at the leg.

But that retro is very nice and I like the style.

Okay I sit here with a tub of Thin Mint girl scout cookie ice cream and I'm looking at all of you ladies saying that you don't do swimsuits... I am a big girl with a big bottom and huge hips and I still wear a swimsuit! I am probably the fattest one here and I have even worn a bikini top with shorts or capris in my backyard to try and get some sun on my chest and tummy...
You guys need to get a little more comfortable in your skin! I wouldn't wear the bikini top out in public, but I would still wear a tasteful one piece and have a cover-up on hand...

And I agree with you!! I gave up feeling embarassed in a swimsuit long ago. I just buy one that covers up the ickiest parts best. I will still go in the water and lay on the beach.

I will be brave....size 18 on a good day! Mine is the tummy, suck it all out of there and I could be a 14!!!!!!!
