Lol. I have zero clue how people get good candling pics!!!! I can not at all.Well... I'm a total newbie so I can't comment on whether there's life. However, I'm pretty confident in saying those photos are terrible.Seriously, though, that cloudy egg yolk is interesting.
Yeah. It's a low light situation which means if you move a millimeter, it's going to be blurry.Lol. I have zero clue how people get good candling pics!!!! I can not at all.
LOL Well at least there is 1 good egg in the bunch even if it is just me.Yeah. It's a low light situation which means if you move a millimeter, it's going to be blurry.
At any rate, you're a good egg putting up with the ribbing of a complete stranger.![]()
You could put them in the incubator and check at day 11. If you add new eggs, and any of the old ones develop, you could take out the old eggs at day 18 and stick them under a hen to hatch at lockdown, leaving the new eBay eggs in there until their own lockdown. I hope you get a couple but I’m glad you found a new seller that will work with you!ok. I will probably check these eggs this weekend and may put them in the incubator then? not sure or just wait till Wed to check which will be 11 days. I am going to give them Ditzy's that are laid by Sunday.
then I found another seller on ebay that will ship out more for shipping cost if you don't have a good hatch rate. so think I may order from her as well. Those will need to go in the incubator since I can't have my girls sitting that long. Once I check those for any development I will do another hatch along with any that are developing between ebay and Ditzy's so everyone can pick again. I won't start it till day 4 so everyone hopefully has a chance.
I am camping Thurs- Sunday so that is why I am moving these to the incubator just in case they go back to the wrong nest while I am gone. Lol. I will give them any viable eggs back on Sunday after we get home. I will add Ditzy's and maybe 1 more Hummer egg tomorrow. That way if, like I think, none of these eBay eggs are viable then hopefully they each hatch at least 1 one and will move on from being broody. I will give Fajita Hummers that is growing now and any eBay ones that may do something. Then give Nugget Ditzy's and a new Hummer egg.You could put them in the incubator and check at day 11. It is sort of complicated, but won't be. Lol. Right now I have 1 Hummer egg and eBay under my broodys. I think these eBay are all duds. So that leaves Hummers. Will put Ditzy and 1 Hummer under Nugget tomorrow. Give Fajita the first Hummer. This is all sounding very complicated! How do you keep track???
Big sticker that said “FRAGILE, LIVE HATCHING EGGS”I am camping Thurs- Sunday so that is why I am moving these to the incubator just in case they go back to the wrong nest while I am gone. Lol. Thinking it will be 2 weeks till I can start the new sellers eggs since we camp next week so she can't ship till after so they don't sit at the PO at all
Did your shipped ones say fragile on the box or anything about eggs?
