Be careful what you say in public forums!

Or some poor kid has a big hole in their leg. Roos still scare me a bit.
I was berated once for slapping my horse on the but to load on the trailer, the twit said I had HURT him. Asked if she had ever seen horses playing with each other. NO. They play HARD. no clue, and no hope of getting one....

So true So true!

I work for a huge multi-national co., and they are very upfront that they actively seek out ANY references to themselves. Woe to any employee caught making negative comments on the net.

LOL, your rooster looks just like the 20 or so ornery cusses that I have. They are freezer camp bound and I can't wait. I agree with letting them babysit them for a day and see how much they pitty the little darling after that.

My boss was sneaking around my FB statuses too. I never could find her, but she HAD to be a "friend of a friend" because I know she wasn't MY direct friend. I changed my default setting for all posts to be "friends only" and even then I excepted some people who she might talk to. No more problems from her!
You HAVE to USE your privacy settings.

To the OP, anyone who reported you would have to know your location, right? The sheriff wouldn't come out if they were only given a name. (I tried to file charges against my neighbor and the form for it SPECIFICALLY stated that providing the name AND address of the offender was the responsibility of the person filling out the form)
That should narrow down your list of suspects, unless you post your address up for public viewing.

Nice Roo. We had a big one like that and a fox got him. He was nice though. I hate it when you turn your back on them and they get you from behind. My wife just grabs them and holds them upside down.

My kids opened a face book account for me. I never use it. Too many stupid postings and foolishness.

That lady has definately never had to defend herself against a naughty roo. It would be funny just to see her reaction when he went after her. LMAO!
I was really turned off when Facebook made the member pages public - luckily I heard something about it on the radio and visited my page right away to make it private. I like BYC much much more!
You are so right that the general public doesn't understand about roos.

I have only read the first post. First off, he can protect the flock without attacking your butt, the one that FEEDS his butt!

Ok. GIVE him to that woman that wants to help that poor abused rooster. And include a first aid kit, gratis.

Could check in the regional threads, I believe there's NorCal and SoCal ones (been living in Cali almost a year I still don't know where anything is lol)
Wow. This was an old Thread to get bumped.
