This time of year is a dangerous one for people who keep chickens.

Fox cubs are keen to learn how to hunt and aren't as wary as mum and dad.

Be vigilant....

I'm always up for offering advice etc.

What's your favorite method or predator removal? Mine is a Ruger 10/22.

I know I have to be careful as I live right next to a wood and ive already experienced 1 Fox attack just over 2 years ago lost my entire flock so paranoid now always on look out

Just a few minutes ago, I was putting up my chickens for the night. I looked over my shoulder and there was a Fox walking by. I yelled at it and it vanished behind trees. I'll be extra vigilant tonight.
