Beautiful Fall Day in the Mtns Of Ga (PICS! LOTSA PICS, sorry Dialups)

Cyn, those are beautiful pics. I love the chorus line. And where did you get those gorgeous Ameraucanas? I love the color. Is there a roo with them?
Poor Caroline, I've never really seen a molt bad like that. Mine are molting, but no skin showing.

Karen, my Ameraucanas came from California. My pal, Lynn, got the eggs from a friend she sold a rooster and hens to and mailed them to me. They are from Cree lines out of Washington State. No rooster-Snow and Nora are the only two that hatched from six eggs, which is fine by me, but I told my DH today that for two cents, I'd hatch more and keep a rooster. They are the sweetest girls! They are so beautiful, especially Snow. Pictures dont do her justice-she's like fine china and crystal, only softer.

the pictures of your beautiful flock!

Hi Cyn - what a beautiful place and a beautiful flock. Your flock must have so much fun free ranging and scratching in all those leaves. I loved the fall foliage colors. We're still having blistering hot days here but I can tell fall is on the way.

I am hoping these next ameraucana are more tame my girls were never handled and are very flighty but their mothers were very tame which is odd. I am going to be getting chicks which means more very friendly birds

Those ameraucana are so beautiful I need some !!

Snow is a splash and Nora is blue. They are full sisters, I believe; at least they have the same sire. Snow is so funny-if you approach her and say her name, she chatters in this tiny little voice and shifts from one foot to the other really fast, her version of the squat I guess, LOL. I just want to squeeze her, she's so precious.
