Best chicken feeder and waterer????

Will it keep out sparrows though?
Mine are inside their coops. I have seen a squirrel try to get in there. I just had my Jack Russell chase the squirrel a few times and it gave up. LOL I use the game seal lids to make it easier to get into. This is what happens when I fill them. LOL

I currently have an open dish for food, and a bowl for water but I would like to upgrade. and needed some new ideas for a feeder and a waterer for about 30 chickens I also have a HUGE sparrow problem :barnie(those darn things I can't seem to get rid of them )

What is your favorite feeder/waterer?
And ANY ideas and photos would be great!

Thanks 😊
I have large PVC pipes that I put feed in so they all feed themselves. We also have a PVC system with water drip nozzles on it runs off of a pump and heater. It's the best thing you ever did everything's automated.

I would be terrified that the cat would go after my {free range} flock.
Cats are a catch and carry off hunter. They cannot carry off a grown chicken. Chicks might be in danger, though. This particular cat acts like a guard cat for my chickens, she never far away, unless one is broody, then she doubles her distance.

Update on my waste free feeder...
While I love the silicone ports for the ability to mold them to round buckets and not just flat surfaces, one of my girls (I'm going to blame the Wyandottes, since they are the ones that peck and scratch the most!) managed to chew off the lip on one of the ports so now some feed spills out. Still not as messy as they were with my old pipe feeder, but more waste than I saw the first month. Going to investigate some plastic ports and see if they work as well, since I don't need the flexibility of the silicone with my flat sided feeder.

If you look at the pics of my feeders, they are all 5 gallon buckets with the plastic feed ports from Rent A Coop. My 30 chickens have never damaged them and I did have Wyandottes earlier this year. The ports and the bucket bend some, so form a seal. Also, I do have one that did not bend, I made the hole to close to another so couldn't position correctly. Half of it isn't even screwed in, the edge is sticking about an inch from the bucket, and there is no leaking.
If trying for plastic ones now, I would recommend these. They also have a little hood to protect some from weather. Good luck.

Thanks for the review! They never show pictures of these ports from the front so you can see how the edge/lip is, so I always hesitate to buy them. My old pipe feeder had a deep neck and a lip and my Wyandottes STILL stuck their head way in and scraped food out and then kicked it around! Brats 😅

Anything with a reliable cup. And for the feeder I love the ones what the chickens cant scoop feed out of. But my bird won’t put their head in something. My favorites are in the pictures.
