mine took the time to build the new chicken coop and now is building a hen house for our babies.. What would we do without them???

I am sorry about your Turkey. I have wild ones on my property and I get worried when I don't see them in the morning under my bird feeder. I know there is a hen out there with chicks, I counted 8 at one time. I worry about her, and she isn't even mine. I have been thinking about getting some to add to my coop, but really don't know why, as I have no intentions of eating them.

My DH throws scratch out for the wild turkeys. And he didn't want me to have chickens, and yet he let me raise 23 of them inside our house. I went for 9 chickens to 39 and he hasn't said a word. All he does is carry the food bags for me and helps me design a bigger coop, which he will build. He's a keeper.
