Ameraucanas have smaller Tighter combs, they are P/P, O/O

I happen to reallyyyy not like the look of those combs, and being in Florida, I strongly prefer the single comb, but yes, that’s good info for people other than me. 🤣
 
Well that entire things getting scrapped as the true amerauacan i had from deer run farms doesnt have a blue egg gene so that was a waste of time and will be selling them all
We just recently ordered chicks from deer run farms in hopes of starting a breeding flock of BBS Amercaunas. How did you find out they don’t have the blue egg gene?

Meyer's has different lines though, and you cannot request.

Because I bred the rooster to a a brown egg laying hen if he had two copyies all hens would lay green yet got a brown egg layer meaning he only had one copy.
 
Also I never kept the only f2 pullet olive egger out of 7 sold her got sick of the feather picking but still have the bc1 hen hatched in april who still hasnt laid. Once this thing lays i plan on selling it i dont need this pullet and shes taking to long to lay. Her mother started at 18 weeks yet this is taking this long prolly for a brown egg because shes single combed.
