Best way to sand off old paint without harming chickens.

Okay I want to begin to sand off the old paint on my coop to re paint it.
Whats the best way to be it without my birds eating the paint that i have sanded off.

Any tips would be great.

hmm maybe one of those electric hand sanders that has the filter catch bag attached?

Scraping is better than sanding if the paint is peeling. There's no need to totally remove the old paint

If it's not peeling, a pressure washer will clean it up prior to painting

I think that might work better as the paint is peeling
