Do yo use the cone thing. That seemed ingenious. No, I'll tell you what's ingenious . . that defeatherer, washing machine looking thing! Yeah!!!!!

wow..not sure what happened to this post but..
I’m def not a stranger to processing. I hunt a lot and can field dress a deer in about 15-20 minutes. Last year I shot a big bull elk..needed help moving him (winch) but I still managed to do the icky parts myself.
I don’t own nail polish… or lip gloss.
I have a brush tho :lau

Great anatomy lessons, imo, and respect for the animal (imvho).
I tried the cone, not for me. I use a stump, two nails and a sharp machete.

Ok, so the tire with dirt . . . is that considered "clutter"? Plenty of tires around these parts to be had. Is that for dust bathing? How many birds do you have? I like cement driveways; so clean looking. Country dirt roads round these parts. Our "driveway" is where we drive to get back to the house .
The tire is filled with dirt for winter dust bathing, but all 10 birds free range still until snow comes. They mostly sit in or on the tire for now, so, yeah it clutter.
We never had cement drive before, just rock . had to do this bc its built up about 5 feet with clay and sand due to where we built the house.
The chickens love pooping all over the driveway, porch, driveway, porch matts, DRIVEWAY… it washes away easily but, man! watch yur step!
