Big Ag and CNN are at it again

I helped my sister order some chicks online from McMurray Hatchery this afternoon.
When she got the confirmation email it had a link to a PDF file stating pretty much all the same info in that article.
Washing hands, no kids under 5 handling chicks, no chickens in the house, etc.
So whats your theory on that? Big Ag controlling the hatcheries that are selling us chicks? Oh wait, Didn't you say big Ag didn't want us buying chickens?
Maybe big Ag has nothing to do with any of it. Maybe it's just people looking out for our safety.
Imagine that.
It's ok to have a different opinion but wow, that's a bit aggressive.

My theory on that is no crud most do that stuff already. They are a vector for salmonella, not to mention mites and all sort of things. Keepers know all of these things, the kitchen staff should know it as well.
