Unfortunately I submitted my email via the government wedbite, so I don't have a copy. I emailed and called personally. When I called his Austin office I spoke with one of his staff members and basically asked one of the reps employees what his stance was. I stated that I'm a voter in his district and would like to emplore him to vote in favor of the bill. If in disagreement, I extended an offer to have him come to my home to enjoy an omlet and a tour of our coop. The staff member took note of my stance, reasoning, and said she would forward this on to my rep. Days later I got a hand-signed note from the rep, so I guess it worked!
