This one has a sprig on one side of his comb. Other than that, he is pretty nice. He has a little mossiness in the center of his breast. That's it really

I have to desagree with you I don t see any mossuness on the chest .

What I see is a well colored .proper Birchen chest . nice black

great leg color not too dark .

I ll breed from for sure to a good comb hem .

he need to have a spotted chest .

that is different story than. Rumpless .
a lot rumpless roosters did show up in a marans strain this year from france to USA . Australia . Belgium .

No baby can explain it.

I like him well colored ( the silver look better in the other photos) sun does play with a silver color.

good type and shape.
he s well put together .

good like to breed a good cockerel from him .

his pullets are gorgeous. hatch a lot chicks from him .and you will find a good one.

I got my first birchen eggs extra with some copper marans. These two hatched, but they are all I have... Not sure what i think of it yet but we'll see where things go.

pure silver color nice long back .love every thing about them .

Does anyone here think this is birchen Marian? Was supposed to be a black maran hen. Was hatched in July I was told. Pictures are from a few weeks ago. I can get better ones if needed. Thanks
