Only a parasitic worm can lay eggs internally and hatch them. A regular worm would get destroyed by the stomach acids. I’m sure the grub is not alive and if so just barely hanging on.

His crop did feel liquidy after the ordeal, and it was empty before hand. I felt something hard earlier, but I can't confirm if it was his crop or not.
As he was vomitting, I could only describe the event as a seizure.

This is very sad and very strange. From all I've read (quite a bit as a worried chicken owner) I have seen nothing like this

Same here, I'm going to keep it on the table so to speak. I'm confused by the worm as well.

Perhaps put it in the fridge in an airtight container.... to preserve it for further inspection. Is his crop still liquidy or has it drained?
Another thing:

You can Identify Sour Crop by checking the crop before the hen eats in the morning and if its Sour Crop the crop will be watery and squishy like a balloon, if you open the hens beak a foul smell will emanate from it.
but you said his breath wasnt foul?
again the worm is puzzling doesnt look like any worm or grub ive ever seen

I already have, I wouldn't know, I would have to go out and check. And I don't know about a sour crop. As far as I know, he didn't show signs, but I could be wrong...

No, never seen anything like it. It was like a seizure. I can go into more detail if you would want.
