I love the closeups of his cute face. He's sweet. It's funny he's giving you a stern talk. He probably feels good about himself.

Yeah he was feeling extra tough that day so he got all in the front of the camera. Its funny too because if you talk back to him he honks really loud back at you like "don't talk back to me!!!"

that is hilarious. He really thinks he's studly. But in a cute way cuz he's an innocent web footed bird.

Just observed a large Canadian goose land on the building next to mine. I heard his loud honking first and then as he went to land he let down his landing gear, two legs with webbed feets dangling and wings kinda back flapping until touch down. But why was he talking and what was it about?

They always honk, but if he was alone he may of been looking for the rest of his flock!
oh good thanks and since you said that come to think of it, a few mins later he took off from the roof with another goose I hadn't seen. I love their honking.

Me too! My little Damascus laid her first egg! It's in my profile picture! :D
yay, poult. Finally. That's so exciting. And thank you for the nice piece you wrote about all of us in the members' section. Now, will she lay one everyday? I know people eat duck eggs. What about goose eggs?

Aw your welcome you guys are awesome! I am hoping for one a day! I want them for hatching but yes you can definitely eat them I would prefer trying to get another gosling out of it though.
