nature has such amazing adaptive measures ensuring survival. I've learned so much from people like you, poult, when it comes to birds.

Aw that really means a lot to me ;') & BTW I got to see a Chinese ring neck pheasant today! & my 'gander' just layed an egg!

I am jealous poult. That pheasant is gorgeous And cute. Wow. Was he on the ground? Do they fly very well? I kinda consider pheasants, grouses and quails to be similar to each other as clumsy flyers.

Yes it was gorgeous! Yeah he was standing in the rain beside the road someone must own him because he was very calm & yes it was a male.They are very fast if they don't want to be caught good luck! They can fly actually quite well at least I know quail can & I've heard pheasants are good flyers too.

I wonder whose he is. They'd miss him. I hope he stays safe. Such a beautiful species. And he'd be fun to hold.

He was just over the fence of a property that had lots of chickens in it and he was about to hop back over so im sure he is okay but he was cute!

OK, good to know. I hope he isn't in the habit of ranging too far. He needs to stay with his diverse flock of birds and stay safe. The cuteness of birds sends me into the orbit. You have no idea how badly I want to hold on and kiss him. Their faces and bodies kill me.

Yes. It's crazy how cute birds can be. I want to squeeze them. Not in a bad or hurtful way though, never ever that.
