So here is a picture of bird from the front.
im so glad he did not break his neck.
We have 3 or 4 each summer that we find dead in the deck.

Our loud and funny guests visit the deck railing about every other day. They seem to be peeking in the windows at us. Then they allarm at something (or nothing) and fly off all at once, sometimes up on the roof of the house.
Their parents are teaching them the routine.

I think you may be right although why would a warbler be at my bird feeders? Arent they bug eaters not seed eaters?
If you can zoom in on the picture you might see some bright yellow accrost his back barely visable between his wings.

Warblers do mostly eat bugs, but I've seen a few occasionally at my feeders & even saw one once drinking nectar from a hummingbird feeder.

That yellow spot on their backs is how Yellow-rumped Warblers got their nickname...butterbutts!😀

This is a Dark Eyed Junco.
They summer in the arctic
The come back south for the winter and when you see them you know that your summer is over and winter will soon be here.
Cool! I have seen the Oregon variety of Dark Eyed Juncos, but never any other. Is your variety a Slate? I never knew they migrated!

So in the past three days I have been drawing birds a lot. I look at a picture and copy/sketch it. I'm definitely not perfect, but improving. My three pages (one for each day, sorry if the pictures are upside down):

Day one (Northern Flicker, Black-Capped Chickadee, Yellow Warbler, Downy Woodpecker, Eurasian Collared Dove, Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, Barn Swallow, Killdeer, Dark-Eyed Junco (Oregon), and some kind of Grosbeak that I forgot)

Day two (American Goldfinch, Chopping Sparrow, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Western Kingbird, and I think the last was a Yellow-Throated Warbler)

Day three (Black-billed Magpie, House Finch, Black-capped Chickadee)

I'm looking for more pictures to sketch! A couple guidelines:
-Fairly good quality picture
-I need a clear view of the bird. I'm not good at angles or birds in flight.
-Please clarify what type of bird it is.
-As you can see, I have only done songbirds so far. No cranes, raptors, or hummingbirds...yet!!!
-I'm not very good at sparrows, but I can give them a try.
-I might not do the full body, depending on the picture.
-Backrounds are still a work in progress.
-It will not be perfect.

Please share!!! Also, does anybody else draw birds here?

Those drawings are amazing! I love it!
I have tons of chicken pictures, but that’s about it. I will occasionally sketch a chicken, but I’m not very good at it.
