BLACK COMB AND HARD TIME BREATHING

Thank you! The only thing is that link didn't tell me if avian pox is fatal, and how to help them through. Any ideas?

I do believe wet pox can be fatal in some cases as it affects the respiratory tract of the bird. I believe it all depends on how well your birds can fight the virus off.

Lots of fresh air, a well ventilated and clean coop helps. You can also help by what you feed them. Lots of fresh veggies, hard boiled chopped eggs are also a great source of nourishment to under the weather birds. Extra vitamins and minerals in the water can also help. So a poultry tonic or something like rooster booster.

Okay. They already have minerals and vitamins in their water, and I will give them veggies and eggs. I noticed she has bumps in the roof of her mouth. Should I remove them?

I'm sorry to inform you,
Scruffy only got worse, so we decided it was in our and her best intentions to cull her. She was barely alive, and would have died in a week or so anyways.
