Black Mold?

We had a bit of storm yesterday and a branch fell off our ficus. I thought my chickens might enjoy perching on and jumping around it in the run but under the bark I saw what I think mine be black mold? What do you think, will it hurt them, is it black mold?

Just looks like damp dead wood. No worries, though we don't have ficus here, the house plant, tree, has toxic sap, so if it's similar I might pick a different wood.
