It's official, Adonis is an Addie. Had her out in the bright sunlight and there is no question. I know the girls have huge legs, too, but she feathered out so darn slowly and in patches, that I was sure we had a cockerel. Well, same thing happened with her mother so I guess I was just hoping for another Suede son for Cetawin. I'm sorry, Ladyhawk, you know how hard I tried to get one for you! How many batches of eggs did we incubate? Five? And the eggs under Emily now do not appear fertile or they were very early quitters. I need to remove them today--the only one left that I'm sure of is June's egg so maybe we'll have another Hedwig/Junebug.
