I wish my blacks would get to laying...LOL I really wanna hatch some of the non bearded blacks of mine I have come to love the non bearded black silkies.

Got a huge batch just coming out of the shell today....mostly whites this time though and a few blacks. The hens are picking up laying and up to just over a dozen eggs a day. Fertility is improving. Yayyy The weatherman is hoping it warms up finally next week. Daytime temps are only in the 30's and maybe some snow yet this weekend. Going to weed out the PQ ones for the huge April 10th Waverly swap. Hopefully I can start shipping soon.

I'm with you Teresaann24 my girls just aren't laying yet

They are still young a few just 8 - 9 months old . The weather here is in the 40s today

and they could reach 50 tomorrow

but friday and saturday could be more snow

. Amy how are you and your baby ? Things finnally quite down for you with all the company visiting ? ( please excuse me but my little man wants me to add these to my typeing
