I just got this sweet lil gal to add to our flock this past weekend. She's just as cuddly and sweet as can be, we've named her Lorraine. (Her Australorp companion was named Quiche!) The lady we got her from said she's about 4 mos. or so, was purchased at a feed store and was supposed to be a Buff Orpington. Obviously, not! Does anyone have any idea? Since it was from a hatchery, I'm guessing she isn't anything too exotic.

I didn't want to taint the pool,

but that was what I wondering, because of the neck speckling, but wasn't sure. I noticed there are 29 views and only 2 posts. This is a tough one!

There's been a couple times in the past week or so where I've responded to a post but the post never showed up. I did respond to this one agreeing that she looks like a lovely dellie.

I have 2 of the exact same looking pullets and same age. Also bought from a feed store that sold them as Buffs. So what are they?

I'm so sorry! I hate when things don't work! Thanks for your help. I think Delaware too. I was wondering Brahma, but the consensus is Delaware. Thanks again.

Isn't that weird? Looks like Delaware, I"d love to see your pullets too! I had a few ideas, but I knew for certain that they were not Buffs!
