Fugax heard a dragon coming, and with his last bit of energy, stood in a defense position. He was worried that he would be killed and eaten. That’s when the dragon came over. And with that, Fugax fainted.

Calling to the hunting party, he flapped his wings and managed to get a few feet off the ground, but fell after a few seconds. The second time he tried to fly, he managed to hover without falling. Clumsily flapping around, he managed to make his way to the top of a tree on the edge of the clearing. Axel decided to sit atop the tree and wait for the hunting party to come nearer so he could ask about Shimmer once he remembered he wasn't allowed to go outside of the camp without a middle-ranker to accompany him.
