Blood in poo or just intestine?

Aha, that makes perfect sense. I got two nice pairs from a breeder. My buffs acted glumly and had pale floppy combs, so not knowing it spreaded by poop I put a new pair in and one got skinny and died....

Yes, Coccidiosis is a nasty parasite and kills very fast. Unfortunately there are 9 strains of cocci,so an overload/outbreak can happen at any time.

Thank YOU bantamlover21 you rock!
You're welcome!

Yeah, I am going to start treating it today, Can the disease come back again, or does it have to be reintroduced to my flock?
There are 9 strains of Cocci,an overload/outbreak can happen at anytime. Know the symptoms, treat immediately and all will be fine. Whenever a new strain that birds have no immunity to has been introduced, there might be an overload/outbreak of cocci.

I hope my 3 Leghorn bantam chicks will be ok, they are about 2 months old. They just started showing symptoms late yesterday, they drank the Corid today!!!
Does Coccidiosis occur mostly in males, or affects them more because that happened to two pairs, the males were affected heavily, with little effect on females....?

No, it occurs equally in both sexes. Your females might just have been more resistant for some reason. Hope they recover!
