Bloody poop AFTER CORID

I'm currently treating chicks a second time for Coccidiosis. There's different strains, & occasionally there's the strain that takes a Sulfa drug to kill it.

Luckily I haven't needed to use that.

I'll tag in an expert in dosage to help you out more then what I can with the powder form.
Thanks. I appreciate all of you help and input

So how do I know when it is cleared? Everyone has been fine with no bloody poops since day 4 or 5 of treatment. And now I’m just starting to see it again. I’m fine with restarting CORID if it’s necessary. I just didn’t want to overdo it
Since there's a reoccurrence of Coccidiosis a second treatment is needed immediately.

It can't be overdone easily. I was concerned about overdosing chicks on corid first time using it, until someone told me it's nearly impossible to overdose chicks on it.

I’ve seen a couple of posts about treating for 7 days at the higher dose then an additional 7days at the lower dose. I just don’t want to give them too much CORID since they’ve already had 6 days with only a 4day break

New chicken momma. Had one chickie (of 7) with bloody poop and isolating herself all fluffed up. Treated with CORID immediately started doing better. 3 days later (still treating flock in water) the same little chickie started acting sick again. Upped her dosage with a dropper bottle for 2 additional days. Did a total of 6 days for the flock and sick chick. Now 4 days after no treatment (2 days on nutridrench) I’m seeing bloody poop again. No one is acting sick(yet). I’m trying to figure out which chick it is, but not sure yet. I switched them to medicated feed yesterday as I had to buy a new bag anyway. I clean the coop and run and bleach the waterer daily. Should I wait it out a couple of days to see if anyone starts acting sick. Treat flock again, find the bloody pooper and treat her with CORID from a dropper. Any insight would be helpful.

Chicks are between 4-5weeks. I used the 3/4 teaspoon per gal since they are still young the one I fed with a dropper I upped it to the 0.024% fed her 3 times a day for 2-3 days with the dropper also I have the powder CORID View attachment 2742617
Please Please Post some photos of the poop, chicks and brooder!!!

Powder dose is 1 1/2 tsp per gallon of water! You don't go by age, you go by outbreak.
If there's blood in the stool use a full dose!

Cut out the Nutri-Drench.

For the one that is not doing well, mix 1/2 tsp powder into 2tsp water. Syringe 0.34ml per pound of weight into her orally once a day for 3 days.
This is IN ADDITION to her drinking or you syringing the Mixed Corid water into her frequently throughout the day.

I always go 7-10 days depending on severity of the Coccidiosis infection. In really bad cases I do a Drench twice a day.

For 3-5 week olds I do 2½, to 3mL with a 6mL syringe. Sounds like alot, but it isn't really.

Okay so maybe the dosage just wasn’t high enough because the only one who got that much was the one we fed with a dropper in addition to the flock water.

They are not on nutridrench. I only gave that for 2 days post treatment. I know it can counteract the CORID.

I don’t currently have one that’s not doing well. I’m just seeing bloody poop, but not sure who it’s coming from. They are all eating and drinking and socializing like normal. I usually have one that just perches most of the day (we call her princess Kate).

when I had one that wasn’t doing well we did use a dropper and feed her a higher dosage if the CORID in addition to the drinking water. She always bounced back within a couple of hours.

and here are pictures of the babies, coop, run, and playground. We live in the south so it’s very warm here and they are already in the coop/run.
