bloody poop

I Have 4 Hens That Are 22 Weeks Old . One Or More Is has some blood spots in poop. Does This Mean They Are Ready To Lay ?

Bloody poop is usually a sign of illness, often times it is cocci. Can you tell us anything else about the poop? Is it otherwise normal-looking, watery, excessive white or no white in it, what color, etc. etc.

cocci!!! I don't find blood in the poop all the time. The poop just has some blood in it. The poop other wise looks normal. I am new at this hole ckicken thing... I got my girls when they were two weeks old. They are now 22 weeks..No egg yetI was told that blood could mean that they are about ready to lay ??
