Blowing your nose in class - rude or acceptable?

In class, if you have to blow your nose alot, sit in the back near the door so you can step out.

My father blows his nose after meals-even in restaurants! My husband and I can't help but gag. I don't want to finish a good meal with someone's snot gurgling. I don't have the heart to say anything to him, he's in his mid seventies. I can't stand it.

Also, I can't stand watching someone sneeze into their hands. Use the inside of your elbow. Hands should be clean as possible.

In microbiology we loved the nose blowers. We attacked the blower with culture swabs and 48 hours later let them know what was growing in their nostrils.

Once, during study hall, the person behind me honked their nose so loud I farted in terror.



We were both asked to leave the room.

I get ticked at people who blow their nose in public, and the one who are constant sniffling. If you are just forcing it back in, walk away and blow it out.

Personally, I walk away to blow my nose or sneeze. Most classrooms allow the student to walk out for a minute to do this.
