Blue Andalusian Chickens 5 weeks old

if they are two Roos will they alway stay close or will they end up fighting? And if so at what age?
Completely depends on the boys. Many do get a long and live happily ever after. Or there might be a day it comes to a head. There are always little spars. It's what siblings or ANYONE else who had to live with another will do on occasion. Sometimes we just disagree.

I do keep a stag pen with all males in it... for eating and breeding. They usually get along. Anybody who refuses to play nice goes to freezer camp first.

I have had boys raised and happy together decide it was time. I got fed up with the relentless chaser (Head boy) and gave him a chase of my own. After they calmed down every body lived the good life. The boy who was on the receiving end of the butt kicking that day (challenger) was actually on my list to be culled the next day not for attitude. But I didn't want to process a boy who was kinda down in the dumps, hiding from the rest of the flock. So I let him hang out until next time I was thinking about processing and they were back to buddies the very next day. However... that boy got to go to a new home where they had a broody hen and wanted a rooster to quickly fertilize some eggs for them and were also going to process eventually as the guys gf didn't like the idea of eating fertilized eggs. He contacted me through an ad I had up looking for someone to process for me. Well he ended up being a good rooster to the hens and the chicks they hatched out. And the gf somehow adjusted and so that boy got to live with 10+ hens and still does! :bun And my head boy does a beautiful job accepting juveniles when it's time to enter the stag pen side. He breaks up fight between the other boys or the hens when needed and on their side...

So it could go either way. And it's more about personality than breed. My boys that are awesome are my Marans, a known breed with fighting in their history. While I have a couple Silkie boys that are an allegedly sweet docile and gentile breed... who are bullies, always trying to mount the other boys and even fought until bloody the other day... when I didn't realize the impact removing my head roo for breeding would have on that pen... Now I know, somebody has to be boss. Those two little jerks aren't quite a year old yet but getting close. I'm sure their hormones are raging. But I've got them separated right now. It isn't usually bloody but it does happen and these boys have been together for... about 11 months or so. Oh actually, I processed the aggressor the next day since I had already decided the attitude was bad since he continued starting stuff with the Marans. But that leaves the boy who was challenging him with a big head... trying to make stuff roll downhill to the other Silkie boy that is in there and still lower on the pecking order.

Anyways.. I'm rambling... long story short yes and no. ;) But YES they could live together and stay close and end up fighting or not and still stay close... or not. Sorry so vague! :fl

Just answering that question though... not saying both are surely male yet.
