I've done that a few times
Completely depends on the boys. Many do get a long and live happily ever after. Or there might be a day it comes to a head. There are always little spars. It's what siblings or ANYONE else who had to live with another will do on occasion. Sometimes we just disagree.if they are two Roos will they alway stay close or will they end up fighting? And if so at what age?
And my head boy does a beautiful job accepting juveniles when it's time to enter the stag pen side. He breaks up fight between the other boys or the hens when needed and on their side...
Those two little jerks aren't quite a year old yet but getting close. I'm sure their hormones are raging. But I've got them separated right now. It isn't usually bloody but it does happen and these boys have been together for... about 11 months or so. Oh actually, I processed the aggressor the next day since I had already decided the attitude was bad since he continued starting stuff with the Marans. But that leaves the boy who was challenging him with a big head... trying to make stuff roll downhill to the other Silkie boy that is in there and still lower on the pecking order.
But YES they could live together and stay close and end up fighting or not and still stay close... or not. Sorry so vague!
