Cyn those girls look great. To bad you didnt hatch more pullets from me. I bet Suede will be more than happy with the two though.

They look like pullets to me. Just love the size. Your doing great. Can't wait to see their offspring.

Whew! Julie, you had me a bit scared there for a moment. If one of these was a cockerel, I think I'd run screaming into the night, LOL. I cant wait till they are old enough to put with Suede.

Christina, I thought you hatched your first eggs from Cyn in September of last year when you first started with orps?

So wouldn't that mean these are hers?

Nope totally diffrent line these are from a gal in my area. I had one pullet from Cyn and she had light eyes so I sold her and a rooster to a gal I got from Jim Cox. She named her Gwenaver and him King Arthur and they live at Camelot. At least I know they went to a awesome home and I even can get visitation LOL.

I tired to find pictures of her. I must of deleted them though. She was really typey and thick. She look almost like your black girl Dede, but she was blue with the light eyes. I know how tough some decisions can be when you decide if you are going to keep birds or not for breeding. Suede will sure have fun swooning his new women. Hope Skye does not get jealous.

I don't sell my blue pullets if they are typey and they just have the wrong eyecolor. One of my breeder friends in UK told me first get the type right and the eyes are fairly easy. I have found this to be true. Of course if you have enough that have all the right stuff you would cull the lesser with wrong eyes. Just saying this in case someone is just starting to breed their birds and like me might not know what is acceptable to work with.
I would not keep squirrel tail, long lanky and not broad. Wrong leg color or things such as wrong color in feathers such as red in the hackles or wings
