I know I've taken it before when I lived in Central America, it gives you a feeling of malaise that lasts for about 5 days. I still would like to know if anybody has an idea about withdrawal, since it's off label for chickens.

I read that it depends on the strength of solution. Ivomec Eprinex usually 7 days for eggs and 28 days meat for human consumption.

I thought you had 60 CRs on the ground?? Or is she the only pullet from the first hatch?? ........stan

Stan

I have 3 more groups behind her. She was just "the only" pullet from my first hatch. 11 cockerels and 1 pullet. Some kind of odds, huh?

I think I have 18+/- for sure pullets growing up behind her in age (thank goodness)

Thanks Bob

18+/- pullets growing up behind her in age. There are 2 that are 4+ months already showing a nice chest and EXCELLENT tails. I think its going to be hard to pick out "the best of the best".

Glad you mentioned the feather quality. I "thought" they looked better, but not knowing enough about exactly HOW the feathers should look I was afraid to comment

Thanks again....will try to get a few pic of the 3 nicest cockerels (at least from the 1st group) and post later

Those are some combs you would like to see on a jap. They have big earlobes, huge combs, pinched tails and really bad leghorn type....compared to our leghorns. It is always interesting to see the type differences between the US birds and other countries.
