I agree with those who recommended you go to the United Orpington Club. When I first came to BYC I asked for a Buff cockerel. Didn't find too much I liked that was available. I was told to join the UOC. And quickly was refered to the Club's Secretary. She gave me a list of her top 5 Buff breeders. Of which two no longer have Buff Orps anymore. Sadly both Bob Coulter and Clarence Cannon have left the hobby. Of the others I was told to check into. Terry Britt was at the top of the list, Heather Vermazen, Tony Ewert, and ofcourse Doug's Buffs. Only Terry has a website. Terry was very good to help. I was put on his waiting list. And bought 2 cockerels and 2 pullets. Terry carries a pure Ewert line. I was very happy with his Buff cock I call Tonka. Tonka a pure Ewert line Buff was recommended to me to use with my Doug Buffs. That recommendation came from Doug. Other noteable Buff breeders, would be Roy as mentioned. Don Chandler the UOC President has some Vermazen line Buffs that I believe trace back to Coutler. I could be wrong. My first phone call would be to Terry. I waited 6 months for my two duo's It always pays to be patient.
